EVENT STRATEGIST

We are a lean, yet mighty band of misfits seeking a talented, full-time junior event strategist to join our team of thinkers, doers, movers and makers.

You possess a harmonic blend of creative eccentricity and project management know-how. You are a conscientious team player and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are energetic with a fresh perspective and style, seeking to develop and apply your skills on a range of ambitious and innovative projects. You believe great ideas come from unexpected places and aren’t afraid to take on tasks, roles or projects that stretch beyond your core skill set. You maintain confidence in your ability with a healthy amount of humility, understanding there is always more to learn. WHAT YOU DO:
At CR, you have the opportunity to wear many hats and to even shape your role over time but there are fundamental responsibilities of the junior event strategist. You will:
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Producer to provide a central support role on a variety of projects
- Efficiently and pro-actively assist in all aspects of event development and project administration from start to finish
Assist the Creative Director with every aspect of completing creative projects through the management of available resources
- Provide administrative and event concept support to Creative Director and Producer
- Organize project meetings as well as vendor meetings
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, venues and other service providers
- Conduct research for projects and proposals including venue, guest experience, event technology, etc.
- Travel frequently
- Report directly to the Creative Director
